The TV anime series Mainichi Kaasan (Kaasan: Mom's Life) is adapted by Studio Gallop, based on a slice-of-life gag manga by Rieko Saibara, who describes random funny stuff about herself and her two kids. Like any career-committed mother, she is jaded after struggling with her job and child care all together as she goes through a lot of hardship to keep the balance between her professional and personal lives. But the life is filled with rewarding moments too. Many stories are inspired by incidents in the author's own life, with an honest and thoughtful tone.
